Eligibility
- MBBS (with internship) or diploma in anaesthesia, pulmonary medicine, or emergency medicine with 1 year of ICU experience.
- Any doctor regularly working in ICU settings
- MD in General Medicine, Anesthesiology, Pulmonary Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
Programme Highlights
- Curriculum is designed for handling most of the emergencies that a doctor will see in resource-restricted ICUs. This is relevant even for ICUs in cities, where the infrastructure is limited to having mechanical ventilation. Non-invasive ventilation, syringe pumps, monitors, and using vasoactive drugs etc like in nursing homes and smaller hospitals
- Structured Formal Exit Exam consisting of a written exam, OSCEs, eCases, and Communication
