OVERVIEW

Voice of Critical Care is a private content management application developed by and for Prof. Dr. Praveen Kumar Jain, Chairman of the Critical Care Education Foundation (CCEF), for the sole purpose of drafting, approving, and publishing educational content about critical care medicine to his personal LinkedIn account. This application is not a public service. It is used exclusively by Prof. Dr. Praveen Kumar Jain and authorised CCEF staff.

WHAT DATA THIS APPLICATION ACCESSES

When you authorise this application via LinkedIn, we access the following data solely to enable publishing:

  • Your LinkedIn profile name and profile ID (to identify your account for posting)
  • Permission to create posts on your behalf (w_member_social scope)
  • Basic profile information via OpenID Connect (name, email)

We do not access your LinkedIn connections, messages, job history, or any other profile data.

3.

HOW YOUR DATA IS USED

The data accessed is used exclusively to:

  • Authenticate your LinkedIn account within the application
  • Publish posts that you have personally reviewed and approved
  • Display your connected account name within the app settings

Your data is never used for advertising, analytics, or any commercial purpose.

4.

DATA STORAGE

Your LinkedIn access token is stored securely within the application database, accessible only to authorised users of this private application. No LinkedIn data is stored beyond what is operationally necessary for posting.

5.

DATA SHARING

We do not share, sell, transfer, or disclose your LinkedIn data to any third party under any circumstances. This application operates entirely within the CCEF private infrastructure.

6.

DATA RETENTION

Your LinkedIn access token is retained only while the application is in active use. You may revoke access at any time by visiting your LinkedIn account settings under Security → Authorised Apps and removing "Voice of Critical Care".

7.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

  • Revoke this application's access to your LinkedIn account at any time via LinkedIn settings
  • Request deletion of any stored data by contacting us at the address below
  • Know what data is held about you
8.

SECURITY

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect the data stored within this application. The application is hosted on Base44's secure infrastructure.

9.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

This application is intended solely for use by medical professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.

10.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this policy as the application evolves. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
